The danger of a single story

In the video of “The danger of a single story” we will see a woman call Chimamanda Adichie, from Nigeria, those talks about the danger that have a single story.  In my opinion, she wants to said that the Africa continent have only a single story. What means this? Africa have a single story because always we see in Africa poor people, that can’t work, that live in the street because they don’t have a house, etc. For me all this shows to the rest of the world that Africa it is a poor continent. All this things makes you think that Africa it is a very horrible continent (I won’t like to go to Africa). Also the media it is a very important character in this problem because they show to the world the bad and poor side of Africa. But also the Africa continent has some good things like some resources very important and very valuables. For example, we have the oil that in the actually time it is the most important resource in the entire world, Africa have a country that is in the 3 position in the world that have the most deposit of fresh water, etc.. In conclusion (my opinion) what Chimamanda Adichie want to say is that not one thing can represent all people, a hold country or a hold continent. Because of this thing we see Africa in some way that they are the poor and more horrible continent. Finally she says that little stories can break and change the humanity of a hold city.
